Chiropractic is a health-care profession that focuses on the spine and other joints of the body, and their connection to the nervous system.  It's based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing when the nervous system is running properly.

The body is in essence completely controlled by the brain through its connection via the spinal cord and the vast networks of nerves that lead to all the vital organs and muscles of the body (the nervous system). When this system is not functioning at its optimal level, your body's overall performance is lacking.

For your body to remain healthy, your nervous system must function well. For your nervous system to function well it must be free of interference. By restoring spinal function with Chiropractic adjustments nerve interferences by misaligned vertebrae (subluxations) are removed, thus allowing optimal nervous system function and improved health.

The spinal adjustment is the art of Chiropractic. We utilize an array of manual (hands-on) and activator (tool) techniques, each of which will be chosen by Dr. B and tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Our adjustments are specific to the areas of the spine or joints we find are hindering optimal nerve function and mobility. Our techniques are gentle yet get the job done.

Other modalities and hands-on therapeutic techniques will be employed, along with stretching and strengthening home programs, to address any soft tissue restrictions that may accompany your underlying structural issue.

We look forward to partnering with you on this journey to optimal health and wellness.
